Resurfacing

Project Overview

The Horry County Engineering Department is conducting the resurfacing work on the roads that were approved in the Capital Projects Sales Tax referendum. Work has been completed on the first 12-mile grouping of roads on August 2, 2007, at a cost of $840,003.05 and the next 12-mile grouping is expected to begin in 2008.

» 1st Group - 12 miles resurfacing complete

» 2nd Group - 12 miles resurfacing complete with the exception of Freewoods Road

This road will likely require additional repairs, which will be addressed in the spring or summer of this year.

» 3rd Group - 12 miles resurfacing

» 4th Group - 12 miles resurfacing

» 5th Group - 12 miles resurfacing

» Last Group - 7 miles resurfacing
